General Characteristics:
CALSIT is synthetic zeolite of type 5A having pore size of 0,5
nm. Molecular sieves are crystalline aluminosilicates of alkali metals or alkaline earth
metals. They have a three-dimensional crystal lattice with basic structural units of SiO-4
a AlO-4 tetrahedrons so arranged, that regular alternating
cavities are formed. The size of the intracrystalline cavities and of the intake openings
- the pores to the cavities - are characteristic for the individual types of molecular
sieves.
CALSIT has 60 - 70% of sodium ions exchanges by calcium. Its chemical composition
in dehydrated state is given by the formula: CaO . Na2O . Al2O3
. 2 SiO2.

RAK43 - equlibrium adosrption capacity
This parameter is determining the capability of the zeolite to adsorb water vapour from
air at 25° C and with 43% of relative humidity. The value is
expressed as; water grams per 100 grams of anhydrous zeolite.

Packaging and Storage:
Zeolites are packed and supplied in 20 litres or 200 litres metallic
packages. The maximum water content in granulated packed products is 1,5% wt.
