Use:

Ekofob is mainly used to treat concrete drive ways of motorways and roads, airport areas, parking sites, industrial courtyards, agricultural and storage objects, garages, bridge constructions, concrete crash-barriers, anti noise walls etc. It is applied on the treated concrete surface by spraying, using rollers, brushes etc. The condition of correct application is to apply only the amount of agent that will infiltrate into the concrete. Impregnation is done on clean and dry concrete surface at air temperature minimum 15°C and concrete temperature +5 to +40°C. The suitable temperature of the impregnating agent is 25 ± 10°C. The applied quantity of the agent must be determined by a test. As informative value, in the case of first application on a  ew concrete surface can be given for the consumption the value 150 – 200 g/m³. For old, already impregnated concrete, the consumption is lower for the repeated impregnation, it decreases to 50-60 g/m².

Occupational safety and health

Ekofob belongs among substances slightly harmful to health. The present components have a mild irritant effect on skin and mucuous membranes. At work out of open space good ventilation must be provided. It is forbidden to eat, drink and smoke when working with the agent. To prevent direct contact of the skin and mucous membranes with the product. That is why the use of personal protective means and reparative skin cream before and after work, are recommended. Used or deteriorated product is disposed in an incinerator acceptable for this kind of wash.

Packaging and storage

Ekofob is supplied in metallic packages or plastic packages with antistatic finishing, in tank cars and other packages agreed upon with the customer. Common plastic packages without antistatic finishing are not permissible. The product must be protected during storage against heating and frost. The storage life, observing the given conditions is 6 months from the production date.
